Country Charm Cottage with Pool & Forest Views

A hidden gem - atmosphere, wild nature, comfort, beauty and restfulness Positive: This is the most idyllic and restful location imaginable, with a dreamlike wooded rural farm backdrop and primeval wilderness surrounds. The ease of getting around made the location perfect, yet it is a tranquil getaway. The cottage itself is in a timeless style taking advantage of light and views, with all modern conveniences and excellent kitchen for self-catering. Spectacular local wildlife includes kangaroos and kookaburras that seem perfectly at home. The night sky of southern Victoria is utterly majestic, a vivid panorama to be savoured in a bushland setting that is still close enough to the city. One of the most picturesque pools imaginable outside the cottage mirrors the sky and its changing moods. The nearby Yarra River offers fantastic bush hiking, and the historic goldfields town of Warrandyte offers great cafés, riverside walks and the fascinating Pound Bend Tunnel. A wonderful and rejuvenating escape! Negative: Could not have been better, a wonderful place to stay!

Positive: Location was perfect as we came down for a Wedding at Pietro Gallus Estate, peaceful private, cute cottage, along with pool and forest views, we loved it! Our transportation was via Uber, fast service but if you enjoy a drive then hire a car and it is a fair drive from airport and city. Smooth check-in as owner was promt with text messaging details etc. Perfect February weather this time! Uber eats is available if you forget to bring food along with you as we did! Milk, water, coffee, bread, etc.
